Fabian Bäcker (NoDB -> 76 -> 77)

Name: Fabian Bäcker (Backer on DB)
Date of Birth: Mar. 28 1990 (Age: 19)
Current Club: Borussia Mönchengladbach
Position: Striker / Attacking Midfield / Winger
Height: 1.82 m
Nationality: German
Rating: Not on DB

Fabian Bäcker is pretty much a homegrown Mönchengladbach player, after spending his early youth at some smaller regional clubs, he moved to Gladbach in 2004. Before being called up for the first team, he's been an important player for the youth teams, including being top scorer last season for the U23 reserve team.
He's both-footed which makes him very versatile, he can play up front, as a winger on both sides, or behind the striker(s). He's quite quick and has an eye for the goal, which he proved in some friendlies during the (short) winter break.

Today, he came in after 63 minutes, making his Bundesliga debut. More on what happened in this game in the last paragraph

Bäcker has also played for Germany as well, representing the U-20 3 times scoring one goal.

Update: (Jun 8 2010) Rose to 77

Patrick Herrmann (NoDB -> 75 -> 77)

Name: Patrick Herrmann
Date of Birth: Feb 12 1991 (Age: 18)
Current Club: Borussia Mönchengladbach
Position: Winger / Striker
Height: 1.77 m
Nationality: German
Rating: Not on DB

Patrick Herrmann moved to Mönchengladbach last season, and after playing for the U-19 and the reserves for 1 1/2 years, he also made his debut today against Bochum, being subbed in after 79 minutes.
He's been regarded very highly by youth staff and Gladbach fans, some of them were even comparing him to Marin, but in all honesty, I wouldn't make that comparison (yet?!).
His greatest strength is also his pace, but he's also a good finisher, while always having an eye for his team-mates as well.

Just as his team-mate Bäcker, he's also a regular player for Germany's youth teams, playing 10 games for the U18 scoring one goal so far.

Update: (Jun 9 2010) Rose to 77
